Friends

Technology keeps me entertained.

Music keeps my heart singing.

Books keep my imagination going.

But best friends make my life worth living.

You are like the innocent rose in the garden

That turns me green with envy

But you help me through bad days

                                                             And for that you are my best friend.

You take me seriously, and you understand me in so many ways

And even though it feels like you hate me sometimes

And you don't want to talk to me

                                                             I know that is not true, and for that you are unique.

You make me laugh, but never cry

You are funny and sensational in your own ways.

You have a rather short temper

But we always make up in the end

                                                             And for that you are truly special. 

 Even though they are boys I admit it is true,
I can't say that I don't love them
They may be immature sometimes,
But they always pull it together in the end
And that is why they are loved.

From the very beginning we were best friends,

And no one can tell me otherwise

You helped me through hard times

Called me pretty and said I was special

And tell me you love me every day

And in turn

I love you too.

Even though no one knows you or thinks your annoying,

I never felt that way

You make me laugh

And say interesting things all the time

And that is all that matters

I don't care about your video-game obsession

Or how you dress

That's what others judge you on

But I care about all the rest.

You went away

A true dismay

You were one of my best friends

And even though you never took me seriously sometimes

You made me laugh

And kept my imagination going

Like others never could

It's a shame you went away

Because no one knows a good thing until it is gone

But now I do

We were friends since forever
And we've been through a lot
Thick and thin, together
Even though you may be corny at times
It still doesn't matter
Because friendships aren't judged on that
And you never judged me
Which is what makes you my greatest friend

 I never knew you too good enough
You were very nice
But that did not suffice
Like true friendships do
I hope we get to know each other better
Because under my tough skin and shyness
There is a true person too
A good, funny person to talk to
Someone just like you
